I have already been journaling this year which is preparing me to write some more blogs. I am inspired to write about my girl Donna. If you are a crazy Starbucks and fall lover you may have heard of a little group on Facebook called The Leaf Rakers. It is a wonderful collection of people who share a love of autumn, coffee and just being cool people. I have enjoyed the group for a few years since a friend introduced and added me to the group.

There was the sweetest lady who posted sometimes, this would be Donna. She shared uplifting and positive quips including a sassy lipstick wearing smile and love of Starbucks coffee. Donna had some health issues that came and went, some of her recent posts included her wearing oxygen hosing. She did get better and us Leaf Rakers following her journey were overjoyed.

Donna had also recently started her own little blog group. She shared about her lipstick and nail polish collection. She only ever shared positive and happy things. She definitely was a wonderful addition to the Leaf Rakers group.

Unfortunately a few weeks ago Donna passed away. I cannot even begin to comprehend the loss for myself, let alone other Leaf Rakers. It hit me pretty hard, considering I had never met Donna in person, only enjoyed her posts and was so excited for her blog.

The past few weeks have been incredible. Leaf Rakers began posting themselves in lipstick, nails done with their favorite coffee in tribute to Donna. It is incredible to think of how a person can have such an impact and legacy and never know how much they helped complete strangers.

I had to get in on the tributes to Donna. I'm not a lipstick person 💋

I am completely in awe of how many people were affected by and loved Donna. It brings hope to the world, one small act really can affect so many. Thank you Donna for what you gave our little online community. You will be truly missed. ❤💋☕️ #fordonna #bemorelikedonna
