Dear Fat Pudgy Girl,

I want you first to know, your body does not define you.

Read it again.

Your. Body. Does. Not. Define. You.

You are smart and funny and kind and strong! And your body shape is a part of who you are as a person, but not everything.

Your body is strong. It gets you places and functions well for you. It helps you create art and bake yummy desserts. Hug your family members and snuggle pets, real or stuffed. It is you. You are your body. But the shape your body is, does not make up your whole being.

Your mind, your personality, your qualities are not measured by your exterior form. The essence of you is not whether you are skinny or fat.

Your body is meant to be lived in, not looked at.

Think about that. Sure, we like the looks of a pretty car, but the importance is in the RIDE. How does it drive?! Not just the outside.

Every body is beautiful. Rock the body you have. Learn to love your flaws. Covering up and being embarrassed only accentuates what you are trying to hide. Every body is a bikini body. Trust me, I rock one! Curves and ALL! And you should too! If you want to.

I write this because someone I care about is concerned about the way they look. They have been called fat. It hurts. Fat does not define them. And shoot, having curves is IN. Having a healthy body and loving it is in. Being proud of your body and who you are. That is what matters.

Love yourself. I do! ❣ Rock that body girlfriend.
